Consign with Us
At Urban Thrift we believe in circular fashion, and accept items on a consignment basis.
When items that we accept are sold, consignors accumulate credit which can be paid out or used for in-store purchases.
Items are accepted Tuesday to Friday from 11am – 5pm. We limit drop-offs to a maximum of 20 items.
We ask that all consignors read our Guidelines and Terms in full before booking a drop-off.
Please ensure the following:
- Items must be in season.
- No pilling, holes, stains, pet hair, or scuffs.
- All items must be clean and folded or on hangers.
- Items should be in ‘ready to sell’ condition.
- Leather goods & jewelry items should be polished and cleaned.
You will be notified once your items have been processed. You have 14 days from being notified to pick up items that were not accepted.
We reserve the right to donate non-collected and end of term items to our Partner Charity’s account (CAWST).
We’ve implemented a web based tracking and payment system. This will allow you to check on the status of items you have consigned, payouts and sales history. You can gain access to your account by clicking the ‘Login’ in the header. Payout on accounts is done upon request twice monthly.

Here is a list of some of the brands we typically accept, but are not limited to. We couldn't possibly name all the brands we accept, but this will give you an idea of the type of pieces that do well with our customers.

Brands Not Accepted:
Certain brands do not meet our standards or reflect our values regarding sustainability. Here is a list of some of the brands we do not currently accept:
H&M, Forever 21, Garage, Dynamite, Smart Set, Cleo, Old Navy, Ardene, Joe Fresh, Shein, Bench, Denver Hayes, Laura, Reitmans, Suzy Shier, Talbots, Under Armour, Victoria's Secret, Cider, American Eagle, Brandy Melville, Reitmans,
Items We Cannot Accept
We also cannot accept the following:
Wedding dresses, maternity wear, costumes, uniforms, scrubs, corporate products with logos, lingerie, underwear, sports bras, swimwear.
We only accept Men's Suits and Ties if donated directly to our partner charity's account.
